RYT 200

I’ve always had a passion for fitness, health, and wellness. I found yoga in 2012 and fell in love with this new way of movement. In 2017, my mom relocated and as a way to stay active and meet new people, we decided to sign up for a 12-week yoga program at a local studio. Little did we know, this program would be so much more than that. This experience resurfaced my love for yoga as it brought me closer to my mom, connected me with a beautiful community, and allowed me to get back in tune with my mind, body, and soul. Since then, I knew that yoga would become my lifestyle and I became inspired to share this way of moving with others.

In 2022, I graduated from my masters program and didn’t hesitate to shift my focus towards enhancing my yoga practice. I enrolled in “The Grateful Yoga” 200-hour yoga Teacher Training and got certified through Yoga Alliance. This training presented yoga in such a new way.

Initially, I fell in love with fitness because it fed my competitive side. I found a rush in competing with myself and although I still embrace that competitive trait in me, it quickly developed into an unhealthy relationship between me and fitness. Yoga taught me a new way of movement that can also be fun, playful, and a dance with your breath. I became eager to fall, fumble, and get back up again and found myself feeling more empowered than ever through this humbling, therapeutic practice. I can’t wait to bring this energy into my classes and to help others feel liberated through their own unique breath and movement that feels good to YOU. I am so grateful to be on this journey with you.
